Final Physio session before event day - Hydrotherapy

It was lovely to get into the nice warm pool after yesterday's stairs training. 19 x up & down the steps at Morisset Train Station. Today's Hydro session was mainly focused on my arms after several weeks of neglecting my upper limbs, but included single leg squats, 2 sets of 12, each leg!

Wet weather stairs training

30 minutes of up & down the stairs in Tuggerah Westfield(Indoors).

Another day, another round of stair training

21 times up & down the stairs at Morisset Train Station in anĀ  hour today.

Strength Training

Today I squeezed in a home workout before attending Survivor Choir this afternoon;
3 Sets of;
Single Leg Stance with Knee Drive 10x each leg,
Mini-squats 10x
Step-through lunge 10x each leg,
Wall push-ups 10x

Another day another hour of stair training

With Today being a little cooler than Saturday 21 x Morisset Train Station stairs managed, that's 735 steps up and 735 steps dow 1,470 dteps total!

Only 5 weeks to go!

I'm lookuing at booking my Support person for a bonus Monday stair training session tomorrow, keeping my foot on the gas.

And more Stair Training

Again 19x up & down Morisset Train Station stairs (35 steps per flight)

Standard Physio Programme

Today I did not have a Support Person, so training was theĀ  standard exercise program provided by my Physio Therapist designed to improve my walking gait, which in turn makes walking a large distance more acheivable for me. Only just over 5 weeks to go now I think!

More Stair Training

Today I went back to Morisset Train Station to dedicate an hour to stair training. This time I managed 20 x up & down the station stairs (35 steps per flight) This year I'm going to be prepared to go further than ever before!

Physio Today at Toronto Foreshore

Focus on walking gait.

Stair Training

I spent 1 hour practicing stairs at Morriset Train Station todayĀ  (19 x up & down, 35 steps per flight)

We're stepping up to restore sight!

We are taking on the epic Sydney Harbour Hike this October to STEP UP TO RESTORE SIGHT!Ā

The challenge is to finishing the 34km hike together as a team, but more importantly to raise as much money as possible for The Fred Hollows Foundation and help them to continue the legacy of an Aussie legend, Fred Hollows.Ā

Did you know that today 9 out of 10 blind people don't need to be?

This seems crazy but together we can help and change lives forover. BecauseĀ as little as $25 can help restore sight to someone who is needlessly blind!

Please, step up with us and support our challenge to restore sight by donating generously.

Thank you for your support!
